Day 1: Arrival in Colombo

Arrive at Colombo's Bandaranaike International Airport, where our friendly representative will greet and assist you with your transfer to your hotel.
Settle into your comfortable accommodations and unwind from your journey.
In the evening, explore the vibrant city of Colombo, its bustling streets lined with colonial architecture, colorful markets, and lively restaurants.

Day 2: Negombo – Pinnawala - Sigiriya

After breakfast, depart for Pinnawala to visit the Elephant Orphanage.
- Witness the elephants bathing in the river.
- Enjoy feeding time for the baby elephants.
Proceed to Sigiriya.
Check-in at the hotel upon arrival.
Afternoon visit to Sigiriya Lion Rock, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Explore the ancient rock fortress built in the 5th century A.D.
- Admire the Mirror Wall and ancient frescoes reminiscent of Ajanta frescoes.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Sigiriya.

Day 3: Sigiriya – Dambulla - Matale - Kandy

After breakfast, visit Dambulla cave temple.
- Explore the temple housing over 150 statues of the Buddha.

Depart for Kandy.
En-route, visit Matale Spice Garden to see and learn about different spices of Sri Lanka.
- Witness how some spices are grown and processed.
Arrive in Kandy and visit the Temple of the Tooth.
- Built in the 16th century A.D. to house the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha.
- Admire the magnificent architecture of the period and experience the serene atmosphere.

Day 4: Kandy - Ella

After breakfast, visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens.
- Originally a pleasure garden built by a Sinhala king.
- Expanded by the British and now covers 147 acres.

Proceed to Ella in the afternoon.
Enjoy the scenic journey through the hill country.
Arrive in Ella and check-in at the hotel.

Day 5: Ella- Koslanda- Ella

After breakfast, proceed to Lipton Seat.

Visit Diyaluma Falls in Koslanda.

Return to Ella in the evening.

Day 6: Ella – Demodara- Hikkaduwa

After breakfast, visit Demodara bridge.
- Explore the iconic Nine Arches Bridge, a British railway construction in colonial Ceylon.
Proceed to Hikkaduwa.
Hikkaduwa is known for its large shallow body of water enclosed by a reef.
- Decorated with multi-colored corals and home to vibrant fish species.
- Explore small islets surrounded by beautiful coral formations.
- Opportunities for snorkeling and diving, with several shipwrecks to explore.
- Dive shops offering PADI courses and equipment rental.
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Hikkaduwa.

Day 7: Hikkaduwa

Relax at the beach during the day.
Enjoy leisure activities and water sports available at the hotel.
Prepare for evening departure to Colombo Airport.

Check flight schedule for any changes regarding departure timing.
If necessary, stay at the hotel on day 7 and proceed to Colombo Airport on day 8.

Day 8: Hikkaduwa - Airport

After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Hikkaduwa.

We always stay at here when in town. The location is great, staff is wonderful and we love the overall feel. Beautiful view from the here.

This is the best tour on the east coast! It was amazing how many places we visited and what great memories we made!

This was not our first time going to here. It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
